We got a lemon tree, not for the fruit, but as a caterpillar farm. These swallowtails love citrus leaves, and we have a number of residents at various development stages.

So I just learned that Japanese law requires electronic pedal-assist bikes to never output more than double the biker’s pedaling force, and to cut power at over 24km/h.
This seems very sensible, and explains why I couldn’t relate with foreign commentary about e-bikes going dangerously fast.I don’t know what it is about watching astronauts being blasted off into space in a giant rocket that makes me so emotional, but here we are. Godspeed to the Artemis crew.
Telling the kids they can watch another episode so I can finish my breakfast in peace and I realize – Saturday morning cartoons were for the parents as much as they were for the kids, weren’t they.
